New Lionel locomotive only crawls

Q: I have a brand-new Lionel O gauge no. 18373 New York Central
S-2 electric that I cannot seem to get moving. With the transformer
wide open, it just crawls. I use an MRC Pure-Power transformer and
GarGraves track. The wiring is 16-gauge coming from half-inch bus bars.
Any help getting this rolling will be greatly appreciated. - Lee Cobb, North Eastham, Mass. |
