Description: The Zephyr was a magnificent streamliner built by the Budd Company in 1934. It was notable for its outstanding performance and efficiency. Nicknamed the Silver Streak, it a reached a top speed of 112 miles per hour during a record breaking run from Denver to Chicago. The Zephyr also had a remarkable service life of almost three decades and now graces the halls of Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry.
