30 trains run automatically through 17 stations from a central control room. The tinplate trains are made by Ace Trains of London and Bassett Lowke. The railway is 50 x 30-feet on four levels and is loosely based on London's railways.

Lionel's Best Friend of Charleston was too cute just to be a shelf piece. So I created a diorama of a scene in the waterfront of Charleston for my Best Friend to serve. It's a small layout, 30 by 60 inches, but still fun to watch the train wandering through the 19th century town on K Line Superstreets.
