The Louisville and Nashville had the same paint scheme for both passenger in freight until the 1960. Freight diesels were black, cream and orange striping. Passenger diesels were L&N blue, cream with orange striping.
Cody, cool information. Learn something every time. My question is a bit different and has to do with how to suggest structures to manufacturers. For example, there are a lot of “main street” style stores that are all two story or maybe three. But none that are single story. Yet if you look at many small towns, there are a lot of single story buildings mixed in with the two story. We need some of those. Likewise, getting manufacturers to bring back kits for years ago. I recently got hold of a new in box Atlas Burns Engineering and AHM Grusom Casket. These went together incredibly well and have a look (and size) that fits really well with late 1800 through 1950s era small town rail served businesses. Would love to see more of those older kits brought back.
Thanks kindly.
